A Gift of Music from Worcester Philharmonic - watch their performance of "Going Home" here

As we have not been able to welcome Worcester Philharmonic to the Abbey for their regular concerts during lockdown, they have sent us this wonderful performance of "Going Home", from Dvorak's Symphony No.9 "From the New World (arr. Joe Davies) to share with our congregation.

We very much look forward to a time when we can welcome Worcester Philharmonic back to Pershore Abbey and thank them for their wonderful gift of music!

Pershore Abbey and St Mary's, Wick Re-open for Public Worship with services on 5 July at 1030

Pershore Abbey will be opening its doors for public worship for the first time in over three months this Sunday with a Said Eucharist Service at 1030.

Capacity will be reduced due to Social Distancing guidelines and the service will be a little different with no hymns being sung, but we welcome and embrace the opportunity to once again hold services in our church building.

A pre-recorded online service will be available for those who feel unable to attend or who are still shielding.

We are also delighted that St Mary's, Wick will be holding a Morning Praise service on 5 July at 1030 and a Parish Communion on 19 July at 1030.

Each of our churches faces a different challenge and St James', Birlingham and St Nicholas', Pinvin continue to work towards meeting these challenges as they plan to re-open in the near future.
