Earlier today, our Abbey choir sang outside ASDA

Earlier today, our Abbey choir sang outside ASDA here in Pershore amid a programme of different groups organised by Pershore Rotary.

This was part of their Christmas Tree charity fundraising in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice, St Richard’s Hospice and Midlands Air Ambulance.

Hopefully it all brought festive cheer amongst the Christmas shoppers as well as raising money for these charities 🎶 🎄🛍️

Our traditional Carol Service will be held here at

Our traditional Carol Service will be held here at Pershore Abbey this Sunday at 5pm where we will have bible readings interspersed with carols and anthems followed by refreshments. Do please come and join us.

However if you are not able to attend in person, you can join us live online on our YouTube channel.

Pickles & chutneys
Savoury treats
Christmas cakes & biscuits
Chocolate & sweets

as well as any regular, non-perishable items.

Christmas can be a very stressful and worrying time for those struggling financially. Any donation you can spare will help us enormously to support the most vulnerable members of our community.

Pershore Foodbank is open on Tuesdays 11.00 to 13.00 and Fridays 13.00-15.00 in St Andrew’s Parish Centre.

Everyone had fun at the Abbey’s Light Party yest

Everyone had fun at the Abbey’s Light Party yesterday! 😀🕯️

Great fun was had with jam jar lanterns, lighthouses, cup cake decorating, pumpkin prayer and a stained glass window prayer! 😀👏

There were also hot dogs and hot chocolate! 😋
